Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Boilermaker Welder to join our factory team, fabricating and assembling high-quality agricultural machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and a passion for precision and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on parts and components for agricultural machinery.
- Fabricate machinery frames, attachments, and other structural components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications.
- Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Operate welding equipment and tools efficiently and safely.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to factory safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or factory setting (experience in agricultural or industrial machinery preferred).
- Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Familiarity with factory safety standards and procedures.
- Trade qualifications (preferred but not mandatory).
- Physical stamina to perform factory work, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Must have full work rights in Australia.
